THE killer of six-year-old Alesha MacPhail is being assessed for a move to an adult jail.
Evil Aaron Campbell, who turned 21 in May, is expected to leave Polmont Young Offenders Institution, in Stirlingshire, in the coming weeks.

Prison psychiatrists are working with him to prepare for the fiend’s switch to HMP Glenochil in Clackmannanshire.
Campbell was 16 when he raped and murdered Alesha after abducting her as she visited her grandparents and dad on Bute in 2018.
The monster was caged for at least 27 years, cut to 24 on appeal, in 2019.
Last night, a jail source revealed his first assessment by a shrink took place last week and more are expected in the next fortnight.
The insider said: “He was being assessed by the mental health team from Glenochil so they can get a handle on what he is all about.
“He will be with them for a very long time, so they will be keen to get an understanding of him.
“In Polmont he never mixes with the other lags as he knows he will get attacked so goodness knows how he’ll cope with adults.
“I’m sure the guards will do all they can do to protect him but they can’t be with him all the time.”
We told how Campbell is “bulking up” in a jail gym as he is terrified he will be targeted by Glenochil cons.
He was previously taken to hospital after being attacked by criminals at Polmont.
Glenochil holds high, medium and low security inmates, with lags transferred from other jails rather than sent directly from court.
A Scottish Prison Service spokesperson said: “We don’t comment on individuals.”
