FUGITIVE Nicholas Rossi was slapped down by a top judge yesterday after a crazy rant about Mormons, US prosecutors and Ukrainian meat.
The fantasist, 36, exasperated law chiefs at the Court of Session in Edinburghas he fought against his extradition to America on charges including rape and fraud.
The convicted sex offender, who claims he is Irishman Arthur Knight, was repeatedly warned over his conspiracy theories by judge Lady Dorrian.
Representing himself after his legal team deserted him, Rossi – supported by wife Miranda Knight – saw all his requests for more time to prepare, reporting restrictions, bail and to present new evidence refused.
And despite being repeatedly ordered to “move on”, he switched from an English accent to a Dublin twang as he accused the prosecutor in his native Utah of working with the Mormon Church to “abuse kids”.
Rossi added: “Just Google David Leavitt, Buffalo Meat and Ukraine. It’s all there.”
Warning he could be held in contempt, frustrated Lady Dorrian said: “I don’t know how you think you are helping yourself.”
Rossi has been at the centre of a legal saga to return him to the US after he was arrested in 2021 at a Glasgow hospital.
Judges will rule on his appeal in due course.
