Boy, 9, found after vanishing from busy Glasgow street in his slippers

A NINE-YEAR-OLD boy who vanished from a Scots street earlier today has been traced.

Abubakarr Bendu, disappeared around 12pm on Byres Road in Glasgow.

Officers issued a plea to the public to help find him before announcing the child has been found safe and well.

A spokesperson said: “Abubakarr Bendu, aged 9, reported missing from the Byers Road area has been traced safe and well.

“Thank you to everyone who shared and responded to our appeal.”
